Trump slams ‘barbaric violence’ against Hindus in Bangladesh

Update : 01 Nov 2024, 10:41

Former U.S. President and current presidential candidate Donald Trump has condemned violence against minorities in Bangladesh, through a post on X (formerly Twitter).

In his post, he also and criticized the Biden-Harris administration.

“I strongly condemn the barbaric violence against Hindus, Christians, and other minorities in Bangladesh, which remains in a state of chaos,” he wrote.

“It would never have happened on my watch,” Trump added, accusing Biden and Harris of neglecting Hindus globally and mishandling issues from Israel to the Southern Border.

He promised to support Hindu Americans against “the radical left’s anti-religion agenda” and strengthen ties with India.

In his message, Trump claimed his administration cut taxes, reduced regulations, and built a strong economy, vowing to do it “bigger and better” if re-elected.

He closed with Diwali wishes, hoping for the “Victory of Good over Evil.” As election campaigns peak, Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris continue competing across key swing states.
