HSC schedueld for late June this year

Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent exams of this year are scheduled to start in the last week of June, with preparations for the exam routine currently underway.

On Tuesday (January 7), Dhaka Education Board Examination Controller Professor Md. Abul Bashar informed the media that the draft exam schedule is being prepared.

The proposed routine is expected to be sent to the ministry for approval by the third week of January.

According to Dhaka Education Board sources, the form fill-up process for the exams will begin on March 2, following the publication of HSC selection exam results by February 27.

Last year, the HSC exams began on June 30 but were interrupted due to political unrest. After the government’s fall on August 5, it was announced that the remaining exams would resume on September 11.

However, students protested against this decision, prompting authorities to declare results on October 15 using subject mapping based on SSC and equivalent exam scores.
