US President Donald Trump landed in Israel as hostages were released from Gaza, Reuters reported as the Air Force One touched down at Ben Gurion Airport.
A red carpet was rolled out on the tarmac as Trump descended from the Air Force One, where he was greeted by Israel's Prime Minister Netanyahu, Israeli President Isaac Herzog and their spouses, according to the Khaleej Times.
As the jet landed, Netanyahu smiled and laughed as he spoke with Trump ally and US ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee.
Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner, daughter Ivanka Trump and Steve Witkoff, who was involved in negotiating the ceasefire, were there as well, along with Israeli President Isaac Herzog and Israeli ambassador to Washington Yechiel Leiter.
