Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely to occur at places over Khulna, Barisal, Sylhet and Chattogram divisions during next 48 hours commencing 9 am on Monday.
“Due to monsoon depression over Southwestern part of Bangladesh-West Bengal Coast and adjoining Northwest Bay, heavy (44 – 88mm/ 24hours) to very heavy (> 88mm/24hours) rainfall is likely to occur at places over Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions during next 48 hours commencing from 08 am today,” said a special bulletin of Met office.
Due to heavy to very heavy rainfall temporary waterlogging may occur at places over these regions and landslides may also occur at places over hilly regions of Chattogram division.
