The American rapper, record producer, and fashion designer Kanye West has left fans in shock with his latest revelation about himself, saying he’ll be ‘homeless in a year’ because he’s turning all his properties ‘into churches’.
Kim Kardashian's estranged husband, who recently changed his name to Ye has said that he believes society is being killed by “capitalist rule”, adding: “It’s time to change that.” He has racked up several proprieties worldwide, including his much-publicized ranch in Wyoming.
In a new interview , he explained that he wants to convert these ptoperties into churches, similar to an “artist commune.”
Speaking in a candid interview with 032c, via NME, Ye said: “We are under capitalist rule, and it’s killing us.”
Sharing his plans, he said, “going to be homeless in a year, I’m going to turn all the homes I own into churches.” “We’re making this orphanage, and it will be a place where anyone can go,” he explained in the latest issue of 032c. “It should be like an artist commune. Food should always be available,” he added.
Last month, Ye turned his attention to ending homelessness in Los Angeles and met with LA Mission CEO Reverend Troy Vaughn when he dropped off 1,000 meals to the organization.
TMZ reports that the Grammy Award-winning rapper ‘laid out four ways he can help the homeless’ after visiting the Skid Row area of the city.
Kanye is planning to feed the homeless population by establishing a working relationship with organizations across LA, using his companies to help provide education, housing, and jobs for those on the streets. He also hopes to use his hugely popular Sunday Service performances to inspire and uplift the homeless community.
The rapper visited Skid Row ahead of Thanksgiving, and Page Six reports that a source claims, “He talked about saving the world and how he had all these ideas to work with LA Mission.”
