Sundar Pichai says he does not change passwords repeatedly. Rather, he prefers multi-factor authentication. It is an electronic method, where a user is allowed to access a website or app after successfully presenting two or more proofs. He thinks this is more effective than changing the password repeatedly.
In an interview with BBC, Sundar Pichai said, "I always try new technologies and software. And for that you have to use a new phone regularly.”
He added that he uses 20 phones for various purposes. So, he always uses OTP. He thinks that information technology is a big part of the life of the new generation. Therefore, it is very important to keep your accounts secure by keeping strong passwords.
