Dhaka International Trade Fair kicks off at Purbachal

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the 26th fair virtually from her official residence Ganobhaban declaring ICT products and ervices as the "products of year 2022".

The month-long Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF)-2022 is being held today (Saturday) at 'Bangabandhu Bangladesh-China Friend-ship Exhibition Centre in the capital's Purbachal area.

Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi presided over the function jointly organized by the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) in association with the Ministry of Commerce.

A total of 162 stalls, including 23 pavilions, 27 mini pavilions and 15 food shops have been leased out to various local and international organizations. Traders from more than 11 countries are participating in the fair.

The government will provide transport facility to ease transportation to the fair. 30 BRTC buses will run from under the Kuril flyover to the fair from 8am to 10pm every day. Minimum fare of the buses is Tk 30.

The ticket price for adults has been fixed at Tk 40, while at Tk 20 for minors.
