Today is the 35th death anniversary of Majeda Begum, wife of Tofazzal Hossain (Manik Mia) and former chairman board of directors of Ittefaq Group of Publications Limited.
On the occasion of her death anniversary, various programs have been taken throughout the day on Sunday.
A Qur'an recitation has been organized at the premises of the Azimpur graveyard from 8 am today and a prayer mahfil has been organized at 10:30 am. In addition, Anwar Hossain Manju, the youngest son of Manik Miah and Majeda Begum and Chairman of Dainik Ittefaq Group of Publications Limited has organized Qur'an recitation and prayer mahfil at his residence.
Meanwhile, the family of Majeda Begum's eldest daughter Akhtarunnahar Baby has organized Qur'an recitation and prayer mahfil at their residence after Maghrib.
