A fire has broken out at Mutual Trust Bank in the capital's Dholaikhal area this morning. Shahjahan Sikder, in-charge of media cell at Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defense headquarters, confirmed this development.
He said ''The fire originated at the bank on the second floor of a four-storey building around 10:40am.''
Four units are working to bring the fire under control, he added.
The cause of the fire could not be known immediately.
