The FBI has confirmed there was an "assassination attempt" against former Republican President Donald Trump at his campaign rally in Pennsylvania.
The FBI said it had not yet verified a motive for the assassination attempt, but that it had "tentatively identified" the shooter at the rally.
Special Agent Kevin Rojek told a press conference that officials were "working feverishly" to confirm the identity of the man.
The FBI said it had "no reason" to believe that any further threat existed.
CNN reported that the FBI had so far identified the shooter as a 20-year-old from Pennsylvania, citing sources.
