The North South University Human Resources Club (NSU HR CLUB), known for bridging HR theory with real-world corporate practices, proudly unveils “Bengal Tea presents HR Calibration 4.0 co-sponsored by Global Brand,” Bangladesh's first and largest HR-based inter-university business case competition.

This year, the event is bigger and better, starting with an engaging workshop on October 18th, 2024 at the North South University Main Auditorium, according to a statement.

This workshop titled ‘Bizcomp Battle: Aligning Performance Standards’ sets the stage for strategic HR discussions and equips participants with essential insights for the upcoming rounds of this competition.

This year’s HR Calibration 4.0 workshop was an immersive experience designed to provide participants with practical tools for tackling HR challenges, team management, business competition, and improving mental health, etc. Led by distinguished speakers, including Tajdin Hassan, CBO of The Daily Star and COO of Keeron; Sadman Sadik, author and educator at 10 Minute School; and Md. Shihabuzzaman, Merchandiser at Levi Strauss & Co., the session focused on deepening participants' understanding of critical HR issues such as employee retention, organizational behavior, and effective communication strategies.

Participants were guided through advanced problem-solving frameworks, learning how to navigate complex HR scenarios while gaining insights into current industry trends. The interactive nature of the workshop encouraged students from diverse backgrounds to apply their academic knowledge to real-world challenges, fostering creative thinking, strategic planning, and teamwork as they prepared for the competitive rounds ahead.

After an online case submission in Phase 1, selected teams progress to Phase 2 for an online workshop, Awareness Video round, and presenting a solution at the North South University campus. In Phase 3, top teams will face a live case challenge at a corporate headquarters, competing for recognition and prizes in the Grand Finale at North South University.

HR Calibration 4.0 is more than just a competition—it's a platform for young minds to showcase their HR expertise, creativity, and innovation. By participating, students will gain invaluable insights into the corporate world, enhancing their employability and preparing them for the evolving HR landscape. This event is designed to encourage strategic thinking, foster teamwork, and ultimately, help shape the future leaders of Human Resources in Bangladesh.
