The body of Md Hadisur Rahman, who was killed on March 3 in a missile attack on a Bangladeshi vessel stranded at a Ukraine port, reached Bangladesh on Monday.
A Turkish Airlines flight landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport with the body at about 12:05 pm, said an official at the airport.
On Sunday, the flight was cancelled due to heavy snowfall in Istanbul, the capital of Turkey.
Earlier on Wednesday, the 28 other crew members of the ship had safely reached the country.
Hadisur’s body was preserved in a bunker near Ukraine as the procedure to bring back the body was being delayed due to the worsening situation in Ukraine.
