Five people have been killed in a collision between a truck and a private car at Lohagara in Chattogram at around 5:30 am on Monday (March 21).
The accident took place at Adhunagar on the Chattogram-Cox’s Bazar Highway.
Identities of the deceased of the private car could not be known immediately.
"One person was killed on the spot in a head-on collision between a truck and a private car on the Chattogram-Cox’s Bazar Highway. Four critically injured people were rescued after the accident and taken to a local hospital, where doctors declared them dead. We have seized the two vehicles involved in the accident," said OC Sirajul Islam of Dohazari Highway Police Station.
