In the last 24 hours, 21 new cases of coronavirus have been detected across the country. During this period, the detection rate stood at 4.76 percent in relation to the number of tests conducted. However, no deaths from Covid-19 have been reported.
This information was disclosed in the regular Covid-19 press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Tuesday (24 June) morning.
According to the press release, 441 samples were tested between 8 am Monday and 8 am Tuesday, out of which 21 tested positive for the coronavirus.
The DGHS further informed that so far this year, a total of 473 people have been infected with coronavirus, and 19 of them have died. Among those who died, the number of women is relatively higher. The most recent deaths occurred on Monday, when three people died from Covid-19.
