At least seven people were killed and 10 others injured when a bus hit a motorcycle and a private car at Kashiani in Gopalganj at around 11:00 am on Saturday (May 14).
The deceased could not be identified immediately.
Bhatiapara Highway Police Outpost Sub-Inspector Sirajul Islam has confirmed the matter.
"The driver lost control over steering. A bus of Rajib Paribahan hit a private car and a motorcycle in the Milton Bazar area, leaving seven people dead on the spot and many others injured," said Sirajul Islam.
Fire service and police are working to rescue the bodies from the spot. The injured have been shifted to Upazila Health Complex and Gopalganj General Hospital, he added.
