The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations this year will begin from September 15.
The SSC and HSC exams were scheduled to begin from 19 June and 22 August.
But the sudden flood in Sylhet and Sunamganj disrupted all the preparations, prompting the education ministry to suspend the exams.
Education Minister Dipu Moni announced the exam schedules at a press conference on Sunday at the ministry.
On the other hand, the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) exams will start in the first week of November of this year, Education Minister said.
