An office assistant of Rangpur Sadar Upazila Primary Education Office was caught red handed by the officials of Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) while taking bribe from teachers on Monday noon.
The office assistant was identified as Shahidul Islam.

ACC sources said eight teachers of the upazila alleged that the office assistant of the primary education office demanded Tk one lakh bribe from them. The amount was too much for the teachers. Later they were asked to give Shahidul Tk 16,000 as bribe to get their work done.
