Two people including a woman were killed in a road accident in Sathia area of Pabna on Saturday (October 22) morning.
The deceased were identified as Surman, 30, son of Ansar Ali, resident of Batikia village under Aminpur upazila of the district and his sister-in-law Mahbuba Yeasmin, 25, hailed from Charpara village of Sathia.
Sources said that a motorcycle carrying the duo hit a roadside tree on Bogura-Nagarbari highway in Bhitapara area of the upazila in the morning, leaving them dead on the spot.
On information, members of Fire Service and Highway Police rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies of the duo.
Sub-Inspector (SI) of Madhabpur Highway Police Outpost Abu Ishak Mia said on information we rushed to the place and recovered the bodies.
