All educational institutions in Khulna, Barisal and Chattogram will remain closed on Tuesday (October 25) due to cyclone Sitrang.
Deputy Minister for Education Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel confirmed the matter to the media.
Director General of the directorate of secondary and higher education (DSHE), Nehal Ahmed, said, “The educational institutions will remain closed during the time of natural disasters.”
Moreover, the education ministry has directed to use the educational institutions as shelter centers in the cyclone-hit areas until further direction.
