2 Rohingya men shot dead at camp

Two Rohingya men were shot dead by unidentified miscreants at Ukhiya Rohingya camp of Cox's Bazar on Thursday(October 27).

The deceased were identified as  Ayat Ullah (40), son of Kefayet Ullah, and Kasim's son Yashin (30), who were sheltered in Camp No. 17.

Miscreants shot and killed two Rohingya leaders in the Ukhiya Rohingya camp of Cox's Bazar. 

"The incident took place on Thursday (October 27) at around 3:30 am in the Main Block-C, Sub-Block-H/76 area of ​​Camp No. 17," said Captain of 14 Armed Police Battalion (APBn) ADIG Syed Harunur Rashid confirmed the incident .   

"The motive of the murder could not be known yet. After this incident, security has been strengthened in the camp. A drive is underway to detain those involved in the killing," he added.

A total of nine Rohingya people were killed in October.
