2-day transport strike in Rangpur

Rangpur District Motor Owners' Association has called a two-day transport strike in Rangpur from Friday morning ahead of BNP's divisional rally in Rangpur. The strike will start from 6:00am Friday (October 28) and will continue till 6:00pm Saturday (October 29).

President of Rangpur District Motor Owners' Association, AKM Mozammel Haque confirmed the matter to the media on Thursday (October 27) noon.

He said, "The decision was taken after an emergency meeting with the leaders and owners of District Truck Owners' Association and Car-Microbus Owners' Association on Wednesday (October 26).

Mozammel Haque said, "The decision of the transport (bus, truck, and microbus) strike was taken according to the consent of all at the meeting."
