Edn Minister urges teachers to restrain them from question paper leak

Update : 27 Oct 2022, 17:48

Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni on Thursday said that the teachers must restrain them from the heinous act like question paper leak.

If any teacher leaks any question paper, the liability will go to the whole community of the teachers. Although the incident of question paper leak has stopped, a very few teachers are still involved in such incident.

The minister came up with the assertion while speaking at a program on the occasion of World Teachers Day in the capital city on Thursday (October 27).

The Education Minister said, "Although the leaking of questions in public examinations has stopped, one or two teachers are still involved in it. The liability goes to the whole teachers' community."

"Getting only good grades does not mean that one is a good student. Being a good human being is more important," she added.

The minister also said, "There are so many demands from the teachers. We are active to meet their logical demands. A teacher won't be able to teach properly at the classrooms if his/her socio-economic condition is vulnerable. We have several challenges as well. We are trying to overcome the challenges to ensure a better socio-economic condition for the teachers."

Dr Dipu Moni said, "Teachers will guide us to the path of light. They should give us motivation. Our children will get prepared well under their guidance. We are readying a curriculum which will help students be honest and a good human being apart from acquiring knowledge from textbook."
