One person died due to Covid-19 and 26 new cases were reported in 24 hours till Monday morning in the country.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) issued a press release in this regard on Monday (December 5.
A total of 29,436 people died of the virus. With the new infections, the total number of cases rose to 20,36,663, the release added.
In last 24 hours, 71 people recovered from the disease. A total of 2,706 samples were tested across the country during this period. The daily positivity rate is 0.96 percent.
