The season's lowest temperature of 11.9 degrees Celsius was recorded at Tentulia in Panchagar on Tuesday (December 20).
In-Charge of Tentulia Met Office Rasel Shah confirmed the matter to the media.
Common people of the area are suffering from the chilling cold of the winter.
Tea-workers Arshed Ali, Momin and Jaherul Islam said, "We have been experiencing bone-chilling cold for last few days. We have been facing immense sufferings due to the cold weather."
In-Charge of Tentulia Met Office Rasel Shah said, "The temperature has been dropped in last few days. The lowest temperature 11.9 degrees Celsius was recorded on Tuesday. The temperature may decrease further."
