Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) has lifted the ban on sales of Grameenphone (GP) SIM cards on January 2.
On June 29, 2022, the government imposed a ban on SIM sales due to poor service quality and gave six months till December to improve service quality.
"We have received the letter about withdrawal of the ban on SIM sales." said Yasir Azman, CEO of Grameenphone.
