Orbitax SUST SWE Technovent to be held Jan 26-28

The Software Engineering (SWE) Society of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) is ecstatic to announce the biggest tech event of 2023, “Orbitax SUST SWE Technovent” powered by DSI is going to be held from January 26 to January 28, 2023.

The event will take place within the university’s premises in the Dr. M. A. Wazed Miah IICT Building, Sust. This event will be one of the largest tech competitions held by a university this year.

We are lucky to have Orbitax as the title sponsor of this event. We are also glad that Dynamic Solution Innovators (DSI) has co-sponsored this grand event. The Daily Ittefaq is the media partner of the event.

A total of 3 major competitions will be held at the Orbitax SUST SWE Technovent powered by DSI where students from universities all over the country will participate. The contests are Cefalo SUST Inter-University Programming Contest (IUPC), Brain Station 23 Hackathon, Capture the Flag (CTF) and SUST Inter-University Programming Contest (IUPC) sponsored by Cefalo Bangladesh Ltd.

It is going to be one of the biggest competitive programming competitions ever held in Sylhet where a total of 360 participants and 120 coaches have been selected to compete for a grand prize of 1 lac 60 thousand BDT by showcasing their problem-solving skills over a course of 5 hours.

The contest is set to be held on January 28, 2023. The Hackathon sponsored by Brain Station 23 is going to be an arduous 36-hour long Hackathon starting from January 26 up till January 28. More than 30 teams will be allowed to compete for a winning prize of 80 thousand BDT.

Capture the Flag is a major security competition where more than 100 participants will put their knowledge of computer and network security to the test in an 8-hour-long race to collect flags for a winning prize of 65 thousand BDT. This competition will be held on January 27, 2023.

The prize money for Orbitax SUST SWE Technovent powered by DSI is a total of 300 thousand BDT. A total of more than 700 participants will be showcasing their tech skills and a panel of more than 40 judges will evaluate their talents.

SWE Society, SUST hopes that this grand event will be a phenomenal opportunity for the university students of Bangladesh to gain both experience and acknowledgment which will pave the path to their respective destinations in the world of technology.
