The results of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations will be published on February 8.
Convenor of Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and Chairman of Dhaka Education Board Tapan Kumar Sarkar told reporters this information on January 29.
Earlier, the education boards had sent proposals to the government to release the results on February 7, 8, or 9 – any day.
Tapan Kumar Sarker, chairman of Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka and convener of inter-education board coordination committee said “there is a provision to publish the results within 60 days of the end of the examination” — as per that there is time till 11 February.
He further said, a proposal was sent to the Ministry of Education to publish the results on any day between February 7 and 9. From there it was sent to Prime Minister and she gave her consent to publish the results on February 8.

The 2022 HSC and equivalent exams started on Nov 6 after a lengthy delay due to the coronavirus pandemic and flood.
