Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni on Saturday said falsehood is being spread over educational curriculum to tarnish the image of the present government.
"Falsehood is being spread over our education system. A group is behind all of it as it cannot find any issue against Sheikh Hasina's government," she said.
The minister was talking to journalists after the inauguration programme of the Sheikh Kamal Inter-School and Madrasah Athletics Competition at Chandpur Stadium in Chandpur, reports BSS.
If any error is identified in the textbooks, it will be corrected immediately, she said.
About changing the educational curriculum, she hoped that students will learn more knowledge in the new curriculum and apply their knowledge in proper way in the coming days.
Deputy Commissioner Kamrul Hasan, Superintendent of Police Md Milon Mahmud, Additional District Commissioner Moshammat Rashed Akhtar, District unit of Awami League Vice-President Dr J R Wadud Tipu, District Sports Association General Secretary Golam Mostafa Babu, District Sports Officer Md Tareque Hossain and officials of district and upazila sports, among others, were present.
