The country's first metro rail has been extended two more hours considering the public demand from today.
The train will be operated six hours every day from 8 am to 2pm.
Managing Director of Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) M.A.N Siddique gave this information in a press conference last Thursday.
At present, total of nine stations are open for metro rail.
Earlier, the commuters got the service for four hours from 8:30am-12:30pm.
MAN Siddique, managing director of Dhaka Mass Transit Company Ltd (DMTCL), said the metro train will run full-fledged from July.
