The Bangladesh Jeweler’s Association has decided to reduce the price of gold by Tk 1,749 per bhori following a decrease in the price of pure gold in the local market.
A customer will be able to buy now one bhori of 22-carat gold (11.664 grams) at Tk 96,695, 21-carat Tk 92,321, 18-carat Tk 79,140, and gold of traditional method Tk 65,960.
The new prices will come into effect from today (May 29).
