Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places with heavy to very heavy falls at some places in the country, a met release said on Monday.
"Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions with heavy to very heavy falls at some places over the country", it said, reports BSS.
Day and night temperatures may fall slightly over the country, the met forecast said valid for the next 24 hours from 9am Monday.
The axis of the monsoon trough runs through Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal to Assam across the central part of Bangladesh. Monsoon is active over Bangladesh and moderate to strong over North Bay.
