By-election to Natore-4 (Baraigram-Gurudaspur) constituency will take place on October 11.
Announcing the polls-schedule on Thursday, Election Commission (EC) secretary Md Jahangir Alam said the last date for submission of nomination paper is September 17 and nomination paper will be scrutinized on September 18, reports BSS.
The EC finalised the polls schedule at its 23rd meeting held at Nirmachan Bhaban on Thursday.
Appeals can be filed on September 19-21 against the scrutinisation of nomination papers and the EC will settle the appeals on September 23, said the EC secretary.
He said the last date for withdrawal of nomination is September 24 and symbols will be allocated on September 25.
Voting will take place in ballot paper from 8am to 4pm on October 11, he said, adding that there will be no CCTV coverage during the polling.
The parliamentary seat (Natore-4) fell vacant following the death of Awami League Natore unit president heroic Freedom Fighter Professor Abdul Kuddus, MP.
