Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) seized 5,000 pieces of contraband yaba tablet from Shibganj upazila frontier area of the district last night.
On a tip-off, a patrol team of BGB-59 Battalion from Kiranganj border outpost conducted a raid in Telkupi Kalabagan frontier area at about 9 pm and recovered the yaba tablets in an abandoned condition, BGB sources said.
