At least 113 members of Myanmar's Border Guard Police (BGP) have fled to Bangladesh through the border in Turmbru, Bandarban for refuge after being attacked by rebels, said the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) today.
BGB's Public Relations Officer Md Shariful Islam said they have been disarmed and kept at a safe place in Naikhhongchhari upazila of Bandarban.
The injured Myanmar border guard personnel are undergoing treatment in different hospitals in Cox's Bazar district, the BGB official added.
