Prime Minister's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim dies

Prime Minister's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim died (Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilahi Rajiun). He was 73. 

Ihsanul Karim breathed his last at the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) Hospital at 8.00 pm today, PM's Deputy Press Secretary MM Emrul Kayas told this to media. 

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina mourned his death. In a message of condolence, she prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.

Ihsanul Karim, popularly known as Ihsanul Karim Helal, earlier served as the President's Press Secretary and the Managing Director and Chief Editor of state-run news agency  Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) where he began his career as a staff reporter in 1972.
