Students of 7 DU-affiliated colleges block Nilkhet over exam postponement

Degree students of seven Dhaka University-affiliated colleges began a sit-in at the Nilkhet crossroads, protesting the postponement of their ongoing examinations.

The protesting students claimed that their final degree exams was set for today (22 January). But students learned of the postponement of the exams after arriving at their individual examination centers earlier in the morning. At around 9.00 a.m. those hundreds students of seven colleges took to the streets.

Traffic movement has been severely interrupted on Mirpur Road and Elephant Road, as well as streets in Shahbagh, Bangshal, Nayabazar, and other nearby localities.
