Mild to moderate cold wave continues in parts of country

Mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and the districts of Gopalgonj, Tangail, Kishoregonj, Feni, Jashore, Kushtia, Chuadanga and Barishal and it may continue, reports BSS. 

Weather may remain dry over the country, said a met release issued for 24-hour commencing at 9am today.  

Moderate to thick fog may occur in north-western part and light to moderate fog may occur at some places elsewhere over the country during midnight to morning.

Night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

Country's lowest temperature on Saturday 9:00 AM (January 29) recorded 7.0 degrees Celsius at Rajarhat in Kurigram.

The sun sets at 5.42 pm today and rises at 6.41 am tomorrow in the capital.
