JCI Dhaka Imperial starts its journey

JCI Dhaka Imperial, a new local chapter of JCI Bangladesh, began their journey on January 27, 2022. The chapter was launched with a grand inauguration event at the Renaissance Dhaka Gulshan Hotel by Marriott, where the new 2022 Board of Directors were appointed and took their oaths.

Mr. Niaz Morshed Elite, 2022 National President of JCI Bangladesh, administered the oath and chain ceremony to Mr. Areez Afsar Khan, 2022 Local President of JCI Dhaka Imperial. Ms. Fatima Akter Naz, Chairperson of the Bangladesh Development Council, and national officers of JCI Bangladesh attended the ceremony, along with all the other dignitaries.

Mr. Areez leads the 2022 Board, which includes Ms. Syeda Sabera Arefin as Executive Vice President and Mr. Zunayed Qader Chowdhury as Secretary General. Also, the Board Members include Mr. Mahir Rayhan Rafi, Mr. Syed Junayet Uddin, Mr. Kallol Biswas, Ms. Sabrina Shakhawat, Mr. Zunayed Noor Alam, Mr. Shabbir Haque Akash, Ms. Qazi Anika Islam, Mr. Syed Shahriar Habib, and Ms. Syeda Nabila Arefin.

JCI Dhaka Imperial is a combination of versatile members comprising of members from diversified sectors that include entrepreneurs, financial advisors, HR leaders, technologists, professionals from development organizations, social activities, philanthropists, sports enthusiasts, etc. and others. They believe that by implementing a year-long plan of action and collaborating, they will be able to empower the youth, create more development opportunities, and bring about positive, and sustainable change in society.

Junior Chamber International is a non-profit organization, currently active in over 120 nations, provides the most prestigious global leadership platform for young people aged 18 to 40. In Bangladesh, it has over 2,000 members in various local chapters working directly under the leadership of JCI Bangladesh.
