Dr. Dipu Moni, the Minister of Education, announced today that educational institutions will reopen as COVID cases decline.
She made the remarks while meeting with Awami League officials in Sylhet on Friday morning to discuss ways to end the continuing situation at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST).
The Education Minister stated that the government is doing all possible to address the SUST situation. Students have both rights and obligations in this situation. Discussion is the best way to solve any problem.
Dipu Moni went on to say that similar issues arise at all public universities. National steps are being launched to address the difficulties that all public universities face.
