Romanian consular team comes to Bangladesh for issuing visas

The Romanian government has decided to send consular team here to help issue new and pending visas for the Bangladeshi nationals.

"Finally, the Foreign Ministry of Romania is sending six members Consular team to Dhaka for three months from March 2022 to issue about 5000 visas including 3400 pending visas," Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen said in a message to the media.

He said this is the first time Romania is sending such kind of consular mission abroad.

Following a bilateral consultation, held in October 2021, between the foreign ministries of the two countries, the Romanian foreign office approved to open a temporary consular office in Dhaka and to organize a three months
delegation.
