The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) has published a notification reducing the application fee and the marks for the viva of the 47th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) exam.
The notification was issued on Sunday, December 1.
It states that the marks for the BCS viva exam have been reduced from 200 to 100, and the application fee has been lowered from BDD 700 to BDT 350.
Earlier, on Thursday, the notification for the 47th BCS exam was released, where the application fee was set at BDT 700, as before.
For candidates from indigenous communities, people with disabilities, and the third gender, the application fee was set at BDT 100. However, a few hours later, the PSC announced a reduction in the application fee.
Through the 47th BCS exam, 3,487 cadre and non-cadre positions will be filled across 201 posts. The application process will begin on December 10 at 10:00 AM and will continue until 11:59 PM on December 31.
This time, candidates aged between 21 and 32 years can apply.
