Liaquat Ali Lucky has been reappointed the director general of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy.
He got appointed to the post for the seventh time after his contractual appointment was extended by another two years.
Liaquat Ali Lucky is also an Ekushey Padak winning actor and theatre personality.
The Ministry of Public Administration stated it in a circular on March 29. The circular said the contractual appointment would come into effect from April 13, 2023 or from the date of joining for the next two years.
Born on January 13, 1957, Liaquat Ali Lucky has been affiliated with Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy for a long while, having served as the DG since 2011. Since then he has been holding the post. He served the post for five consecutive terms. Each term comprises two years. In 2020, he got appointed to the post for three years on the sixth term. This time, he has received the responsibility for the seventh time.
