Poet and lyricist Shaharoul Islam Sujon is one of the few who have gained popularity by writing songs in Islamic music.
He was born on January 14, 2003 in Holudbunia village of Koyra Upazila, Khulna District, adjacent to the Sundarbans. His father Akbar Hossen and mother Shefali Khatun.
He started his writing with protest writing while he was in the 10th standard and when he came to high school, he concentrated on writing Islamic songs along with writing rhymes, poems, stories for daily newspapers. Since then, he has been working tirelessly for a healthy culture.
As a lyricist in Islamic music, he has made a place in the hearts of the audience by writing one song after another. He came into the limelight after the release of some of his songs that garnered response from Islamic music platforms Kalarab and Haven Tune. The heart-wrenching ghazal titled 'Miche Asha', released last year, has crossed the 4.8 million milestone on Kalarab's Holytune YouTube channel.
Currently he is working with the country's leading Nasheed brand- Kalarab & Haven Tune. So far, several songs written by him have been released. Shaharoul Islam Sujon expressed hope that many songs written by him are in progress, they will be released soon and will win the hearts of the audience.
